One of the best places to start your exploration of the western Beqaa valley is Aitanit village.

Aitanit guesthouse, named for the village, is a favorite destination for visitors heading to Mount Hermon and Qaraoun lake. Bert Mansour, manager of the house, was born and raised in Aitanit, and can tell you wonderful stories about its past and present. Her first guests were adventurous hikers and both local and foreign tourists anxious to sight see in the beautiful surroundings.

Aitanit guesthouse has five units, two bedrooms, a living room, dining room and kitchen, overlooking Qaraoun lake. And, it is well equipped to welcome guests all year round, with well heated rooms, comfortable furnishings and a fully-equipped kitchen. The spacious rooms are perfect for relaxing after the day’s excursions.
