General

Tranquil “Hay El Nabeh,” in the Barouk region, is a little corner of serenity and tradition. And, Al Aqed guesthouse is the perfect place to spend a relaxing holiday.

The delightful guesthouse and restaurant was built in 1983. Preserving traditional Lebanese architecture styles, the house features beautifully designed arches, wooden doors and floors, and a living area with cozy fireplace. Al Aqed’s owner Adel built a lovely restaurant in the same architectural style under the house where she serves delicious lunch and dinner meals.

The view from the house is simply astonishing, highlighting the mountainous landscapes of Shouf region and the beautiful Cedars’ Nature Reserve.

Stay at Al Aqed and awake to a delicious treat: the traditional succulent cheese, Zaatar and kechek Saj breakfast in the early morning with the wonderful aroma of freshly brewed coffee.
