About Your Host

Meet Your Host
One of the few Lebanese people to preserve the looming industry, Nazih inherited his looming house from his ancestors, who managed to develop it and preserve it as part of the Lebanese heritage. In addition to his work in looming, Nazih is passionate about herbal medicine, and he roams the forest of Shouf looking for herbs and plants which can be used to cure chronic diseases, flu and aches. So briefly, Nazih is a guesthouse owner, heritage preserver and plant collector. Always on the move, Nazih will show you the archeological sites of Baadaran, the Cedars Nature reserve, the traditional industries and introduce you to the cultural heritage of this beautiful area of Lebanon.
